Shred and Recycle Event

At the Rotary Club of Bolivar-Zoar, we believe that civic engagement is about more than volunteering—it's about taking action to improve the lives of those around us. One of the ways we do this is through our Annual Shredding Event, which provides an essential service to the community.

This event helps local residents safely dispose of sensitive documents, protecting them from identity theft while also helping them declutter their homes. By securely shredding personal papers, we give our neighbors peace of mind knowing their information is protected.

But we don’t stop there—some of our shredding events have included additional services like electronics disposal and drug take-back programs. These added elements make it easier for community members to responsibly dispose of old electronics and unused medications, keeping hazardous materials out of landfills and protecting the environment.
